In the early 1970s, Paris is filled with political unrest. While his friends and his girlfriend are consumed with the political struggle of their times, high school student Gilles dreams of painting and making films, something that they cannot understand. During this time of change, Gilles becomes comfortable with his life choices and begins to feel at ease in this new society.
